Hi all, the Family ride is going to have to be rescheduled to Sunday 11th October.
This is due to Judy (family ride organiser) being unwell and loads of people away on the epic this weekend.
Paul Hunt and I will devise a route for the 11th in case Judy hasn’t recovered in time.

slightly off the usual cycling chatter this is a request going out to all budding musicians in the club (and beyond?).

i’ve been learning the guitar (acoustic) now for about 3 years and i was hoping to hook up with some other “i’ve been playing an instrument for a few years now and would like to maybe start a band/jam with other people in the same boat” musicians to help expand my knowledge/skills.

i’m not taking about anything serious just to have a bit of a mess about, to exercise the fingers rather than the legs.

so are there any other folk out there who want to explore their inner rock star?

A week Thursday at The Hop Pole and I think several of us will be on leave before base training proper begins? Maybe a chance to agree training rides over the winter? I am going to try and get a babysitter so we can both go …..
