I’ll be in the Hop Pole after the chain gang – around 8:30. Anyone joining me for the club social?
Tuesday 9th March – 11:30
I’ll be heading out from Toton at around half 11 for 40-50 miles, probably based on Mike W’s Hilly Route, post up if you can join me and we’ll arrange a meeting point.

Has anybody else entered this?
Steve B, Liam and I are entered. It is a local 110km ride starting in Trowell, and going out through Stanton-Kegworth-Belton and then around Beacon Hill to Swithland woods, a great cafe stop/control at Stonehurst farm, Mountsorell, and then out to the Six Hills and back to Trowell via Kegworth.
I rode it last year, it’s a nice ride and well supported by riders from a lot of local clubs, it would be good to see a few others there.
I would also be happy to distribute flyers for the ‘Beeston Challenge ride’ if they are printed pocket/Brevet card size.
All you need or at least some of what you need to know about Audax is at there site.

Click on calendar, scroll down to April 11th and click Trowell.
Remember entries need to be in at least 2 weeks before, so you have a couple of weeks to get your entry in.
There is a bikely link to last years route, this year it starts from Trowell rather than Moorbridge lane, up to date routesheets are usually sent out in the fortnight before the ride. The Cafe stop at Stonehurst Farm is at 31.7 miles.

Not so novice chaingang, Tues 2nd ?
I have the rare opportunity to ride on tuesday eve, is the not so novice chaingang crew gonna be out on Tuesday?
I see the big boys may be tackling the full chaingang route, what will the NSN gangers be doing if out?
Chain Gang Thurs 25th
Sun 28th early(ish) 50(ish) miles
Would like to get out on Sunday morning, we are forcast an easterly ‘breeze’ (20mph) so I’m thinking the Six Hills ride would suit with a tailwind pushing us home.
Steady pace (15 mph or thereabouts)
Easy on time as long as its not too late 07:00 – 08:00 Argos ?
BTW – Anyone got the route?
Weekend Touriste Ride
Any requests for the weekend?
The Met Office is forecating -3 Fri night / +4 Sat day & -5 Sat night / +3 Sun morning so a later start may be in order to allow meltage time. I cant make Richard B’s route next week but it could be an option for us (thanks Richard!)
Thoughts?
