It's back! Full gas from the start... :-)
For the newcomers, (Mike's) Hilly Night is a fast-paced ride that takes in a series of seven local climbs. It's 28 miles with 1850ft of climbing. Traditionally it's ridden hard from the start, and everyone gets dropped eventually. Average speed at the front is usually 20mph+, but once the climbing start everyone tends to find their own pace.
Meet at Bramcote Park. Route shown takes the southern branch on the way out (No Man's Lane), and the loop at the end is anticlockwise (Cloves then Drum).
(This is the "official" route - there was an inaccurate GPX file posted a while ago that caused some confusion over the route.)
Sunset is just after 8pm, so lights will be needed by the end. We should get most of the way round before it's properly dark though.
PS. Anyone new to this, please make sure you know the route (or at least have it on your Garmin), as this ride does not wait for riders who are dropped. Donít want anyone ending up lost in Derbyshire. :-)

Bumper turnout! Really enjoyed that, up until my bottom bracket broke... :-/
Is there any interest in carrying on with this next week? Usually we don't run Hilly Night once the TT season starts, but I'm happy to keep it going for at least a few weeks if enough people are going to ride.
