BCC Reliability 2018 - Long Course
9:00 Sun, 1 Jul 2018
Distance: 140.01km
Duration: 6hr 0
A nice little jaunt around the Peak via Holymoorside
Richard Oakes and John have been looking at the finer details for the reliability ride.
Firstly we are all looking to get everyone to finish roughly within the same time window of 3pm - 4pm.
If people arrive before that then that is no problem. John and Sarah will be there to greet you.
The Star will have a gazebo tent in the garden available for us from 3pm onwards.
You can order your food from the normal menu when you arrive.
The food will be on the club:-)
Do bring money / card for drinks.
Given the above we are going to set the three rides off at different times.
Long route: 9am
Sarah and John will provide food support on long route. Location yet to be confirmed.

which cafe's are you planning on stopping at?
Probably going to do this route 23 June - as long as summer is still here :)
Three of my friends are joining you all.
Simon has done the long sportive before
Simon Morris
Zoe Codd
Phil Hardwick
The suggested feed stop for the long route will be just before the 42 mile point at the start of the woods approaching Beeley.
Sarah and Phil will be stationed at the car park.
Remember that you will be on a descent approaching Beeley.
I aborted the ride at the half-way point and rode back along the A6 with John. It was too much for me with my current fitness, especially in this heat. There’s no way I’d have made it all the way round...
Superb route though - never ridden most of those hills going in an anti-clockwise direction, so made a nice change. And the feed station was amazing, could not have been better. Thanks for putting this ride on.
Oh, and I went straight home - I’m too dead for the pub ????
