Any interest in a cycling weekend in Skipton in June?

A few of us have already booked for the nights of Fri 15th and Sat 16th with a view to driving up Friday morning, cycling in the afternoon, pub in the evening. Then a long ride on the Saturday (pub in the evening of course), and a shorter ride on Sunday morning before driving home after lunch.
A couple of people have elected to drive up early on the Saturday morning and stay for one night only.

I think so far there are about 8 of us, although a couple of them haven't booked yet.

If you're interested, find somewhere on booking.com/s/32_8/jim0se91 (that link gives us both £15 if you use it) or wherever you like.

So far, between us we have booked places at the Woolly Sheep, the Highfield Guest house, Herriots hotel and somewhere else whose name escapes me. Just find somewhere central-ish in Skipton.

I'm trying to find less hills for Friday/Sunday

Look reasonable to me George, if hilly, but it is Yorkshire.

ridewithgps.com has a good route library for other ideas. I put in 3km from Skipton as the starting point (and 'routes with cue sheets') and got some good alternatives for a flatter warm up ride, e.g. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/11642191

I'm happy with any of those. Have downloaded all the gpx's anyway. This means that if we follow the routes carefully, my garmin should have us in Robin Hood's bay by teatime...
