Welcome to Beeston Cycling Club

Thanks to all those who cam along to the AGM last night. 

Congratulations again to Jonathan Kingston, our 2023 Member of the Year, as voted by our membership.

Jonathan has had a massive impact on the club in 2023. Reinvigorating the social side of Beeston Cycling Club. He organised a total of 48 rides in 2023, and attended 78. He has provided rides for a wide range of rider abilities, supporting beginners, providing simple, short, flat coffee rides in the week through to epic weekends out on road and gravel.

Unbeknownst to Jonathan, he's also played a large role behind the scenes helping the exec guide the club, by constantly offering ways we could improve the presence of the club online to help us grow, and has even taken it upon himself to put out updates on the club Strava, and Facebook accounts.

Jonathan is without doubt the most proactive member of the club outside of racing right now, and his influence is starting to spill into the culture of the Beeston Cycling Club, we’re starting to see more members grow the confidence to share rides to the wider club, and a lot of the ground work in this shift has been carried out by him.

So thank you for all your efforts in the last year Jonathan Kingston.
