BCC Race Team wins all at EMRRL
EMRRL 2015 Final Overall Individual Standings
Many congratulations to Ross Lamb of Beeston CC for clinching the overall title in the last race of the League.
It was a very closely fought contest all season with many riders remaining in contention for overall victory right until the last round.
This was a real team effort from everyone throughout the season, with many riders sacrificing themselves to punch holes in the peloton at every race. We held the yellow jersey for all but one of the stages (the penultimate stage), with Greig Burt grabbing stage 1 and Carl Dyson then claiming and dominating it and then Ross storming to win and claiming all awards at the final stage. Carl finished 3rd and was on the podium with Greig placed 5th.
EMRRL 2015 Final Team Standings
Congratulations to Beeston CC who dominated the League all season long and were the most consistent team throughout. It is great to see that the team won by an impressive 128 points over their nearest rivals which reflects their dominance and that they worked as a team.
It is no surprise that we had three in the top five standings. Chapeau to the team for a fantastic first EMRRL season.
2016 is now to defend.
