Momentum rises in early 2016 season
It has been a busy first six weeks of the racing season.
The full squad of racers have been getting solid placings in 90% of the races including well deserved wins. The momentum for the next phase of the season from May to June look promising with some aggresive riding from the get go.
Another positive note is that many of our cat 4 riders are getting results that are getting them very close to cat 3 which will see them get into contention for the more high profile E/1/2/3 races. Their development throughout the season will stand the club race team in good stead to have strength in depth as inevitaible injuries and pull outs take their toll.
In his first season for BCC Stefan Rick sustained a broken hand in a crash at Harvey Hadden which has set his season back for approx 4 weeks. We welcome his speedy recovery to bolster the teams push for more success.
Here are some highlights from the last six weeks of racing.

Its was a good weekends racing. 2nd in the time trial, 19th on stage 2 after having to chase back on after getting a wheel change. Then Chris went on the attack but unfortunately got brought back. And 2nd on stage 3 from a breakaway, which added up to a great 3rd overall. Chris felt really strong all weekend and pleased for a breakaway to finally pay off.
We will update this report with the team's exploits as the season progresses.
