Building on season 2016 successes
As the 2017 racing season is fast approaching, exciting racing developments have been shaping up at Beeston Cycling Club.
2016 was another great season building on the successes of our 2015 maiden season. See above our 2016 highlights which shows the wide spread of great performances across the region and beyond.
Winter training has been going well and the squad has seen some changes. We have new riders joining the squad and will announce them close to the start of the season. Also we would like to thank the riders that have moved on:
Greig Burt - retired, medical reasons
Carl Dyson - riding independent, joining a team soon
Harry Thompson - racing down south
Chris Till - moved to RPD
Following the successes of 2016 we have developed a junior and woman's racing team. This is part of our long term strategy to establish a strong, sustainable racing pedigree for BCC within the East Midlands. We would also like to thank our sponsors who have supported us to help make this happen.
