Our Youth & Junior racing pathway
We are forging strong partnerships to build a racing legacy
by investing in & developing our young riders that show commitment and talent.
BCC and Bryan Steel double Olympic medallist identified that there was limited opportunities for young riders to develop their race craft.
We are delighted to announce our racing development pathway.
Building on the success of our men and female racing teams Beeston Cycling Club have developed a sustainable pathway for youth and Junior riders. Some senior highlights: Our mens team were crowned East Midland Road League champions in 2016 and our ladies the ‘Queen Bees’ won the National Team Hillclimb championship in 2018 and came second in 2019.
Beeston Cycling Club are delighted to announce that Bryan Steel, double Olympic medallist has joined with BCC to create
a racing development pathway from 14 years up to 21 years and beyond.
Our BCC pathway starts with the Bryan Steel Youth & Junior Academy for 14-18 years. Progressing onwards from 18-21 years Bryan will continue their coaching and development journey within the club.
In this first year our young riders have competed successfully at regional and national events in road, track and cyclocross. With the support of our parents, the academy and our sponsors we can build a lasting sustainable pathway for our young talent.
Over the last five years our sponsors have supported our racing ambitions and through the success of our senior men and female teams we are excited to develop a lasting pathway for our young racers.
Building a strong partnership with Bryan Steel and Beeston Cycling Club we are confident of an exciting future for our young talent.
To compliment our current sponsors we are looking for dedicated sponsors to support our youth programme.
