Do people fancy meeting in Beeston and riding out to Terrace Hill together? Takes about 1h15m to get there at a steady pace, and I guess we want to be there a few minutes early to sign on, etc.. Would meeting at 8.15am be OK?

PS. Clocks go back on the 25th, so we'll get an extra hour in bed before this in any case. :-)

I fancy riding out, unless it is persisting with rain, then may catch a lift with Rich O. If anyone wants to take stuff to keep warm whilst waiting to do Hillclimb, could drop it at ours and Rich takes it there. Don't want our club members catching their death whilst waiting around!

I'll probably ride out, not so fussed about doing the hillclimb.

Really so few people doing this? The forecast looks good, and Terrace Hill is no more than a 4-minute effort, closer to 2 1/2 minutes for the skinny racers. Otherwise it's just a nice flat cruise out to the Vale of Belvoir (and probably Dove Cottage afterwards).

The obvious route to ride out is over Clifton Bridge, then via Ruddington, Cotgrave & Harby. Meet at the cobbled bridge over the canal at 8.15am? Who's in?

Not 100% but I think a few of us are going to Rumbles and might stop to have a watch on the way home.

Would love to ride this year but got child birthday shizzle to deal with. New trophy winner this year.....

Am I the only one riding out from Beeston then?

Speaking to Steve Custance we have agreed that the hill climb will start at 10.30

Sally and I will be riding out and suggesting a start of 8.30 as I need to help Steve Custance set up!

Think i'll take advantage of the later start and go the scenic route, so will just see you at Terrace Hill.
